The V149 is designed to be mounted underneath the bench so that the top of the jaws are flush with the bench top. Toe-in at the top of the jaws ensure a firm grip and the jaws have provision for the attachment of wooden cheeks to protect the work piece. The vice has accurately aligned steel slides and rolled 2-start acme thread provide a smooth action.
The V150 is lighter in construction than standard woodworking vices. This useful portable vice can be attached to most working surfaces by means of a 2.1/4" capacity integral clamp. Provision is also made for the body to be screwed permanently to the bench if required. The vice has a high quality cast body fitted with carefully aligned steel slide bars and main screw.
The V175 vice is designed for users who require a more robust vice which is permanently fixed. The main screw has a rolled 2-start acme thread which ensures a smooth strong action with the integral nut in the vice body.
