Thermoprocessing Kit
Complete thermoprocessing kit consisting of CRC120 blower/suction unit, CRC300 50ltr fluidised bath and CRC150 5ltr fluidised bath on a CRC300S stand.
The CRC300 fluidised bath is manufactured from powder coated steel and has a porous PVC membrane in the floor of the bath allowing low pressure, high volume air to be blown into the powder in the tank whilst forming a barrier preventing powder entering the chamber below. This aerates the powder, causing it to act like liquid and allowing a pre-heated metal item to be dip coated in the powder. The porous membrane comes with a protective steel mesh to protect the membrane from accidental damage by contact with the hot metallic components during the dip coating process. A lid is also provided to keep powder clean while the bath is not in use.
The CRC150 smaller capacity fluidised bath has quick action clamps to allow clamping onto the top of the larger CRC300 fluidised bath. It allows economical use of more expensive powder or quick change of colour irrespective of the contents of the lower bath.
The CRC120 variable speed blower unit with blow/suck capacity provides low pressure high volume air for the fluidised baths. Variable speed regulator gives optimum fluidised pressure. Manufactured from powder coated steel with 25mm inlet and outlet stubs allowing use for both vacuum and pressure.
Replacement porous membranes are available separately.
