Dome Blowing Unit 150-300mm
Dome blowing unit which consists of a rigid base with a heat proof seal plate that has perforations to allow air to be injected. A sheet of suitable material is heated in an oven until it becomes flexible or rubbery. The material is transferred to the dome blowing unit and is clamped into position. Low pressure air is blown under the clamped material using the control valve on the front panel to form a dome. An adjustable height gauge assists the user to achieve consistent dome heights. Once cooled the dome is unclamped and is immediately ready for use. Masks may also be added to the clamp ring to alter the shape produced.
Supplied with 300, 225 and 150mm (12, 9 and 6") diameter dome blowing rigid aluminium clamp rings.
Toggle clamp is fully adjustable up to 10mm.
Durable silicone cold vulcanised air seal.
Requires additional air supply, this can come from a compressed air supply or the pressure outlet of our vacuum forming machines.
