Dome Blowing Unit 100-600mm
Dome blowing unit which consists of a spider base with adjustable clamps onto which a rigid base is mounted. The base has a heat proof seal plate that has perforations to allow air to be injected. A sheet of suitable material is heated in an oven until it becomes flexible or rubbery. The material is transferred to the dome blowing unit and is clamped into position. Low pressure air is blown under the clamped material using the control valve on the front panel to form a dome. Once cooled the dome is unclamped and is immediately ready for use. Masks may also be added to the clamp ring to alter the shape produced.
Supplied with one rigid aluminium dome blowing clamp ring (100-600mm) as per your requirement to create any size of dome up to 600mm diameter.
Fully adjustable toggle clamp, typically for use with material of 3-8mm thickness.
Durable rubber seal plate with air diffuser.
Supplied mounted on a stand with lockable castors for ease of location  in the workshop.
Requires additional air supply, this can come from a compressed air supply or the pressure outlet of our vacuum forming machines.
