The smooth 2 flute cutting action drills clean round holes quickly and safely with a minimum of effort, whether in a hand-held industrial power tool or pedestal drilling machine.
Multicut drills thicker materials than Conecut. The exact thickness is determined by the depth of step of the tool being used - double the thickness of the work piece can be reversed.
Each tool cuts parallel holes in a range of specific hole sizes. Specially ground shank prevents slip in 3-jaw chuck, and gives concentric grip in collect type chuck (useful for regrinding). Each parallel step gives a small clearance on the normal diameter. All tools illustrated have a point which produces its own pilot hole without wondering and which can be reground.
