With the introduction of electronics into most GCSE Physics and Science syllabuses, the need for cost effective electronics power supplies is clear. This unit can be easily fitted inside most standard school lab packs (e.g. Linstead, Unilab etc.) to supply a short circuit proof stabilised output adjustable over the range 4.5-8.5V via an on-board preset. Two units may be linked to provide a split rail supply for op amp work. Full lab pack facilities are retained and the unit, when fitted, is tamperproof and independent of the lab pack settings. Fixing is via the output jack sockets (output jack supplied). Fitting entails two solder joints and the drilling of one 12mm hole (full fitting instructions supplied). Supplied fully tested.
