Stanley jack bailey bench plane for rapid stock removal prior to commencing construction work. Depending on plane setting can also make a good general purpose plane. Stanley bench planes are fine grey iron based and are accurately machined and ground for ultimate precision and stability in all working conditions. They are coated with high quality durable epoxy for long-lasting protection. The lever cap is polished and chrome plated. Cutters are of chrome carbon steel and are ground to provide a keen, long-lasting edge. They are fully adjustable for alignment, depth of cut and mouth size.
