MDF
MDF is a Medium Density Fibreboard made from Pino Pinaster bonded with synthetic resins in a heat and pressure curing process using steam injection. Its high level of density, its excellent dimensional stability, its smooth surface, its good workability and mechanical properties make it an excellent material for use in schools and colleges. It can be cut, drilled and filed using traditional hand woodworking/metalworking tools. It may be joined with screws and glued with PVA or any traditional wood glue. This is an ideal material for model making, carpentry, furniture etc, it being an ideal substitute for solid wood in many of its applications.
Sheet Size: 1200mm x 600mm nominal
Available in 10 thickness: 3mm, 4mm, 6mm, 10mm, 15mm, 18mm, 25mm, 30mm and 50mm
