A simple free standing tank designed for the rapid production of PCBs from photo resist coated or conventional copper clad boards accepting boards up to 320x260mm. The unit is formed in two parts, the high density inside tank is moulded as a single piece thus eliminating the risk of leaks or splits from any welds.The inside tank has a heater and thermostat fitted which has an integral top surround which secures over the rigid outer moulded protected case and a splash proof lid with board holder mesh which covers the working area of 5 litres. A pump is fitted to the tank which forces air through two bubble bars to provide efficient and even etching. Seperate splash proof switches mounted on a recessed control panel control the mains power and pump and a neon indicator display when the heater is operative. Tempertaure is set by adjusting the thermostat control knobs. Supplied complete with syphon, 2 metres of mains lead, 13A mains plug fused at 5A and instructions manual.
